The accompanying SMM India 2013 conference provides an across-the-board programme and features numerous high-calibre national and international speakers.
It will address current vital issues affecting the Indian maritime industry, such as finance and investment, training and further education, as well as the importance of increased cooperation with neighbouring shipbuilding regions.
On a global level, it will also look at international maritime policy, cost-efficiency and environmental issues – in addition to offshore and port-related technology.
In 2011, the conference attracted senior decision-makers from key maritime companies and associations as well as relevant government bodies.

96% of all participants to the conference in 2011 rated it from good to excellent in an overall evaluation (result taken from an independent trade fair survey).
