SMM India 2011 – where the maritime industry meets

91% of visitors rated the 2011 trade fair from good to excellent and agreed it offered the maritime industry a great opportunity for camaraderie and the creative exchange of ideas.

78% were satisfied or more than satisfied with the quality of products and services exhibited.

89% rated SMM India 2011 from excellent to satisfactory in an overall assessment of the event.

89% assessed SMM India 2011 as playing an important to very important role in helping them to keep up-to-date with the latest product developments and innovations. 

91% rated the trade fair from good to excellent and agreed it offered the maritime industry a great opportunity for getting together with fellow “colleagues” and exchanging creative ideas.

87% rated the trade fair from very informative to informative with regards to exchanging content with peers and as a platform for discussion and information.

Some 50% of exhibitors at SMM India 2011 were from the Indian shipbuilding and marine equipment industry. The others are based mainly in Europe and neighbouring Asian countries.


Comprehensive conference programme

The accompanying SMM India 2013 conference provides an across-the-board programme and features numerous high-calibre national and international speakers. It will address current vital issues affecting the Indian maritime industry, such as finance and investment, training and further education, as well as the importance of increased cooperation with neighbouring shipbuilding regions.
